Cancellations Due to Typhoons
If your scheduled flight is canceled due to a typhoon, the cancellation fee for that day will be waived. However, if you have a multi-night reservation, cancellations for the days following the resumption of airline operations will incur a cancellation fee. To receive a refund, please submit a cancellation certificate issued by the airline.
If flights resume the following day: If your flight on the check-in day is canceled but flights resume the next day, the accommodation fee for the canceled day will be refunded, but no refund will be provided for the subsequent nights.
Example: If you have a 3-night, 4-day stay at The Guava Shack and your flight on the first day is canceled but resumes the next day, the first night's fee will be refunded, but the fees for the second and third nights will not be refunded.
If all flights during the stay are canceled: If all flights during your stay are canceled, a full refund will be provided.
Example: If you have a 3-night, 4-day stay at The Guava Shack and all flights during your stay are canceled, you will receive a full refund.
Travel Cancellation Insurance
We recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance to cover unexpected cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances (such as a child's sudden illness, typhoon, etc.). This insurance will help you prepare for your trip with peace of mind.
